The Toledo Football Academy (TFA) was founded in 2006 with the commitment to "Building Character One Goal at a Time". In 2015 we brought the wonderful TOPSoccer program to Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. We aspire to continue the growth and passion of sharing the game of soccer through this unique program, Toledo TOPSoccer (TTS). TOPSoccer is a national program administered through US Youth Soccer, serving children and adults facing emotional and/or physical challenges. We are able to offer and grow this "free" program with the help of key licensed professionals and many volunteers. 

TFA also partners with other soccer-focused organizations to promote a love of the game and all the benefits it offers. Our affiliates include: Soccer Shots Toledo to introduce toddlers and young children to the game; On the Ball, which offers specific skills training for youth athletes; and, Kick it Forward, a non-profit dedicated to building “mini pitches” in communities that lack expansive soccer facilities.

All the while, we continue to care for and enhance the place we’ve called our soccer home for nearly two decades, Toledo’s Schneider Park. We are heavily involved with the exciting expansion and revitalization of this soccer space.

As you can see, TFA remains keenly involved in the soccer community in and around Toledo and we continue our focus on “Balance: developing the person and the player through the game of soccer,” while instilling our Core Values: Passion, Integrity, Fun and Enjoyment, Competition, Respect.
